About
CHW 701: Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips Community Health Workers with essential skills to recognize, respond to, and support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. This course fosters culturally responsive care, reduces stigma, and empowers CHWs to connect community members to appropriate resources, promoting emotional wellness and early intervention across diverse populations. Duration: 4-6 hours of pre-work is a prerequisite to 3-day live training 6 hours in 3 days (Mon - Wed from 9:30 am - 11:30 am EST)
