Save the Date! The Division of Behavioral Health is excited to announce the date of the first Behavioral Health Conference, “Your Journey Matters.”

Expanding on the previous suicide prevention conferences, this year’s conference will be a comprehensive behavioral health conference, offering information on suicide and substance misuse prevention, treatment, recovery supports and compassion fatigue. The 2025 conference will feature key speakers Dr. Kim Gorgens, Dr. David Jobes, and Jamie Tworkowski.

This two-day conference will be held on Monday, August 4th from 1:00pm-5:00pm CST and Tuesday, August 5th from 8:00am-3:00pm CST at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

Registration for this conference will open in May. Visit the South Dakota Behavioral Health website to stay up to date on additional information regarding the conference.
