Job Opportunity for Bilingual CHW in NC
NC AHEC is seeking Bilingual Community Health Workers/Promotores de Salud to review and edit translated content as part of the process of releasing CHW Specialty Training modules in Spanish. The work is funded by the NC Department of Health Benefits (Medicaid) and focuses on preparing CHWs to partner with medical practices and care management teams as part of the Medicare Managed Care system. The NC CHW Association is a partner in this work. Together, we are prioritizing equal access to these important trainings in Spanish and English and are committed to ensuring the Spanish versions are accurate and culturally grounded.
