2 Peter 1:1-2

Day 1 - Recited a number of times.

Day 2- This verse beautifully highlights the abundance of grace and peace that comes from knowing God. As a community health worker (CHW), I serve others consistently, often in challenging circumstances. This verse reminds me that my work transcends mere care; it is about extending compassion, stability, and hope to those in need. For my sister, this verse serves as a source of comfort and reassurance. While a stage 4 cancer diagnosis poses significant challenges, it does not diminish God’s grace and peace. His presence can provide strength in uncertainty, hope in hardship, and peace amid fear. Encouraging her to lean on her faith can help her discover moments of calm and courage, even when faced with medical challenges. It also emphasizes that as I support her, I am not alone—God’s grace accompanies both of us, granting endurance and love throughout this journey.

What resonates with me most is how this verse reminds me that grace and peace aren’t just for quiet moments…they meet us in the chaos.

I carry burdens I can’t fix on my own. But knowing God means I don’t have to. His grace steadies me and His peace strengthens us.
