WHAT | What is CHW 101?
CHW 101 is our foundational Community Health Worker core training designed to equip CHWs with essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to serve individuals, families, and communities effectively. When you take CHW 101, you will move from helper to confident Community Health Worker, grounded in purpose, skills, and community leadership.
WHERE | Where does the training take place?
CHW 101 is delivered virtually (via zoom), allowing participants to join from anywhere while staying connected, engaged, and supported.

WHY | Why take CHW 101?
This training builds a strong foundation for CHWs at any stage (new, aspiring, or experienced) who want to deepen their understanding of the CHW role, values, ethics, and real-world application in health and community settings.
HOW | How is the training delivered?
For only $1,500, this training includes:
70 hours of content (theory in part 1 and practice in part 2)
Live, interactive, & engaging virtual sessions
Facilitated discussions rooted in CHW values
Practical examples and applied learning
A supportive learning environment that honors lived experience
We never hold knowledge at random so we offer $1,000 scholarships for community members and $750 scholarships for organizations. We also offer a variety of payment plans to meet you where you are.
