Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day, an opportunity to make sure community members know where they can find accurate information about registering to vote.

For CHWs, this can fit naturally into our role as resource navigators and trusted community connectors.

When someone asks for help, CHWs can:

• Direct them to official, nonpartisan voter registration resources.

• Help them navigate the registration process or locate their state's requirements.

Generation MomMe is offering a free, 5-day Maternal and Child Health Training Intensive for Community Health Workers. This fall cohort is open to the public and will be held live online, allowing participants to join from anywhere.

Participants should plan to attend the full 30-hour curriculum live.

Community Health Workers spend so much time supporting others—this is an opportunity to make space for you.

CHWs are invited to the September CHW Positive Expression & Support Group, a virtual gathering designed to provide a safe and encouraging space to connect with fellow CHWs, share experiences, practice self-care, and support one another.
