1 - CHW General Discussion

This course is free and provides an overview of hoarding disorder, why hoarding is a significant concern when working with people who are unhoused or unstably housed, and strategies for working with individuals who may be in this situation. The course also shares people’s personal experiences with managing their possessions while homeless or unstably housed and the experiences of those who work with people experiencing homelessness.

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) has accredited this course for1.5 continuing education units (CEUs). The course consists of two chapters, each with articles and opportunities to apply knowledge through journaling and a quiz.
