Recruiting Health Ambassadors
Hello! I am the Health Equity Manager with the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy. I lead policy efforts in my organization to advance health equity. I used to be a Peace Corps Volunteer, Community Doula and Midwife so I am familiar with the awesome work that CHWs do and would love to see them integrated into a strong VA Public Health System. Are you a CHW connected to a faith community? If yes, I would love to help you organize your faith community and connect you to other health ambassadors that are doing work in their faith community.
