Virginia CHW Workforce
The VA CHW Workforce Development Council identifies and promotes policies and systems-level strategies to advance and sustain the CHW workforce. The Council holds meetings on the second Wednesday of every other month. An invite will be coming soon for the meeting on November 8th, from 2-4 p.m.
The council comprises three committees: 1) Policy and Communication, 2) Finance, Evaluation, and Measurement, and 3) Curriculum, Training, and Certification. If you'd like to become involved in one or more of the committees, email communityhealthworker@vdh.virginia.gov.
