National CHW Awareness Week Preparation for iHOPE

An abstract representation of professional growth and community interconnection.

Hello CHW Community,

National Community Health Worker Awareness Week is almost here, and this year, we are inviting you to do more than celebrate.

We are inviting you to reflect, connect, share, and HOPE with us.

Introducing iHOPE | National CHW Awareness Week 2026

(8-24-2026 to 8-28-2026)

COMMEMORATE • CELEBRATE • COLLABORATE

Throughout the week, we will journey through iHOPE together:

  • i — identity Who am I and what do I bring?

    • We begin by honoring who we are, the experiences we carry, and the journeys that shape how we show up.

  • H — Heart What matters deeply to me?

    • We celebrate the people, communities, relationships, and experiences that keep us connected.

  • O — Opportunity What possibility do I see?

    • We recognize what is possible for ourselves, our communities, and the CHW workforce.

  • P — Purpose Why does my contribution matter?

    • We reflect on the moments that remind us of the meaning and impact within our work.

  • E — Emerge What am I becoming?

    • We look forward to what we are ready to step into, create, and become.

And there is something special (and FREE) waiting for you each day!

Each morning, we will share a new iHOPE gift, a Scripture for HOPE, and an invitation to join that day's community conversation.

We aren't simply asking you to read along.

  • SHARE HOPE by adding your voice to the conversation.

  • GIVE HOPE by connecting with and encouraging another CHW.

By the end of the week, you will have collected the complete iHOPE series while helping us commemorate our journey, celebrate who we are, and collaborate toward what is possible.

Come ready to participate, reflect, and share.

And as our individual HOPE comes together, something beautiful happens:

Together, weHOPE

We can't wait to experience this week with you!
