One pillar, One practice, and One week in motion
August 17th - August 23rd
Welcome to our 08/17/2026 edition of STRENGTH™ in Motion, a weekly space where we will explore one STRENGTH™ pillar, one STRENGTH™ practice, share what is happening behind the scenes, & invite you into upcoming opportunities
One STRENGTH Pillar

Nurture: Cultivate healthy relationships, habits, and growth
Nurture asks us to pay attention to what we are feeding with our time, energy and presence. Just like a garden, the areas of our lives that receive consistent care are often the ones that grow. This pillar invites us to invest in relationships that strengthen us, care for our whole well-being, establish healthy routines, encourage others and create environments where growth can take root. Your book framework describes Nurture as moving from being scattered and overcommitted to becoming grounded, intentional, and committed to cultivating what brings lasting health.
Nurture reminds us that growth rarely happens by accident. The way we care for ourselves, invest in our relationships, and practice healthy habits shapes who we become over time. Small, consistent acts of care create the foundation for resilience, connection, and lasting well-being.
“Whatever you nurture eventually begins nurturing you”
Stephanie Toney

Think of your life as a garden and reflect on three areas:
Water: What is already growing that deserves more of your attention?
Sunlight: Who or what helps you feel more rooted, energized and like yourself?
Prune: What habit, distraction or commitment may need less of your energy?
Choose one thing to nurture more intentionally this week.
Choose one relationship, rhythm or area of well-being that gives life and give it intentional attention this week.
Schedule the phone call, take the walk, protect the quiet time, share encouragement or spend uninterrupted time with someone who matters.
"“Imagine your heart as a garden. What deserves more sunlight? What quietly needs pruning?”"
-Stephanie Toney

Behind the STRENGTH™
This week, we are choosing Nurture as we continue building healthy habits, meaningful relationships, and environments where people and communities can flourish.
Nurture is showing up behind the scenes through the relationships we are intentionally tending.
We are making space to check in with our team, strengthen partnerships, encourage CHWs and prepare environments where people can continue learning, leading and growing. Nurture reminds us that meaningful growth rarely happens by accident. It grows through consistent care, presence and investment.
"What we nurture today becomes part of what flourishes tomorrow"

We took time to connect with nature while exploring Butterflies & Dragonflies at Innsbrook! It was a beautiful reminder that nurturing ourselves can be as simple as slowing down, connecting with nature, and making space to recharge.
