STRENGTH™ in Motion (SiM 10-19-2026)

One pillar, One practice, and One week in motion
October 19th - October 25th
Welcome to our 10/19/2026 edition of STRENGTH™ in Motion, a weekly space where we will explore one STRENGTH™ pillar, one STRENGTH™ practice, share what is happening behind the scenes, & invite you into upcoming opportunities
One STRENGTH Pillar

Growth: Develop intentionally every day
Growth is the practice of turning everyday experiences into opportunities to learn, adapt, and move forward. It means approaching development with curiosity and choosing actions that build understanding, confidence, and skill. Growth begins with recognizing what is possible and taking a purposeful step toward it.
This pillar encourages openness to new perspectives and a willingness to practice beyond what feels familiar. Feedback can reveal an opportunity to improve, while reflection helps connect lessons to future choices. Progress becomes more meaningful when there is space to acknowledge both what has changed and what still needs attention.
To live with growth is to make learning an ongoing practice. This may look like asking a thoughtful question, applying feedback to a familiar task, or returning to a challenge with a different approach. Each intentional action builds the ability to respond with greater awareness and carry new understanding into daily life.
"Growth begins when curiosity becomes a daily practice"
Stephanie Toney

Take a moment to examine where you are right now, not where you expected to be, but where you actually are. Explore your current season through three areas:
Awareness: What recent experience has helped you recognize a strength or an area that needs more practice?
Learning: Where could guidance, a new perspective, or a thoughtful question deepen your understanding?
Action: What is one thing you could do differently to put that understanding to use?
Choose one opportunity for growth. What would moving forward with intention look like this week?
Choose one skill to strengthen this week
Intentional growth begins with a clear focus. Choose a skill that would make a meaningful difference in your daily life, relationships, or work. Identify one small way to practice it during a routine you already have.
Perhaps this means practicing patience during a difficult conversation, asking for clarification when something is unclear, or breaking a challenging task into manageable steps. Return to that practice throughout the week, noticing what helps and where more support may be useful.
Before the week ends, reflect on one moment when you used the skill. What did you notice? What would you like to keep practicing? Let those observations guide how you continue developing.

Behind the STRENGTH™
Growth looks like taking what an experience teaches and allowing it to shape the next response. A conversation, an unexpected outcome, or an unfamiliar responsibility can reveal something worth developing. Growing intentionally means noticing those lessons and deciding how to use them in daily life.
Development involves curiosity, practice, feedback, and reflection. Curiosity creates space to explore another perspective. Practice helps turn new understanding into a usable skill. Feedback offers insight into what is working and what could improve. Reflection connects these experiences so that future actions become more thoughtful and informed.
Growth becomes practical through small changes in familiar moments. In a relationship, that may mean checking an assumption before responding. In a daily routine, it may mean trying a different approach to a recurring difficulty. When working toward a goal, it may mean seeking guidance and applying one suggestion before deciding what to do next.
Over time, progress may appear as a clearer question, a more considered response, or greater confidence with something that once felt unfamiliar. Recognizing these changes helps make development visible. Each lesson applied creates a foundation for continued learning and another opportunity to grow with intention.

The Connect & Collab Retreat with the Success Tribe in Punta Cana gave me space to learn, connect, grow, and think differently about the future of CHW Strength. I was able to step outside of the day to day work and focus on what the organization needs to continue growing and scaling.
Growth means continuing to develop as a leader so CHW Strength becomes stronger beyond me. It means strengthening our systems, investing in the team, and creating a business that can continue serving, growing, and creating impact without requiring any one person to be part of every equation.
"We can lead differently. As we lead differently, CHW Strength has greater capacity to grow beyond us" Stephanie Toney
