Hello CHW Community,

National Community Health Worker Awareness Week may have ended, but the conversations, connections, and HOPE we created together don’t have to.

During iHOPE, we invited our community to reflect on Identity, Heart, Opportunity, Purpose, and Emerge. Honoring who we are, what matters to us, what we see as possible, why our contributions matter, and what we are becoming. But HOPE was never meant to end with one week.

The week may have ended, but the conversation continues

Introducing:

weHOPE | Weekly Community Conversations

A space to stay connected, share what we are experiencing, and imagine what is possible together.

Each week, weHOPE will offer a new question or reflection designed to keep our CHW community talking, learning, encouraging, and connecting with one another. And just like iHOPE, we aren’t simply asking you to read along.

SHARE HOPE

Add your voice to the weekly conversation. Share your experiences, ideas, reflections, challenges, celebrations, or possibilities.

GIVE HOPE

Read what someone else has shared and respond with encouragement, a connection, an idea, a resource, or simply a reminder that they are heard.

Because sometimes HOPE looks like sharing what keeps us going. Sometimes it looks like offering a resource. Sometimes it is making a connection. And sometimes, it is simply knowing that someone else is listening.

Our First Conversation: What Are You Hopeful About Right Now?

Let’s begin with HOPE.

Think about where you are right now personally, professionally, within your community, or across the CHW workforce.

What are you hopeful about?

Complete the sentence:

This week, iHOPE…

Then, take a moment to read what someone else is hopeful about and Give HOPE by encouraging them.

There is no perfect answer. Your HOPE can be big, small, personal, professional, or something you are still figuring out. What matters is that we create space to share it.

What we hope for individually can become something we nurture together.

This isn’t a one-time conversation.

Come back each week.Share your voice.Connect with someone else’s story.Bring a resource.Offer encouragement.Imagine what’s possible.

What began with iHOPE continues through weHOPE.

SHARE HOPE. GIVE HOPE.

Together, weHOPE.
